Python/Machine Learning Engineer – London Start-up

An innovative High-Tech Start-up in London who are building advanced platforms (systems that handle thousands of events per second) for the analytics and trading field are looking for a talented Engineer to help expand their trading strategy research activity.
What will you be doing?
You will be working closely with the Exec and ML Research teams in order to turn prototype models into-production ready systems, design and build tooling & frameworks to support strategic research and architect the high-level design of the strategy software to minimize latency and scale effectively. Tech stack includes Python, Go, Cython, C++, Machine Learning, NumPy, SciPy.

Think cool and relaxed start-up atmosphere, rarely anyone at their desk after 6 pm with a great team culture and some of the greatest minds in tech.
Where you’d add value:
Track record of building scalable software solutions in Python
Strong software infrastructure development skills
Exposure to one or more of the following: Cython, C++, Numpy, SciPy
Previous Machine Learning experience would be advantageous but not a pre-requisite
Analytical mindset and ability to show initiative
BSc, MSc and/or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Maths, Physics or other related Degrees
