This role is for a Machine Learning Research Engineer, with very strong programming skills in either Java or C++ and offers the opportunity to work on some of the most interesting datasets in finance. As a member of the team you will be expecting to dive into problem solving using your machine learning, programming in either Java or C++ and analytical skills from the get go.
The company work in a high collaborative environment, thus you will have the opportunity to work alongside other Machine learning research engineers, Programmers, Quants and domain experts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with other machine learning research engineers to build production trading applications.
- Formulating, implementing and running machine learning models in an iterative environment.
- Analyzing data to model features.
Skills Required:
- Top class degree in a computer science, engineering or relevant field. (PhD advantageous)
- Experience with and deep understanding of Machine Learning in a commercial environment, ideally deep learning, but we are open to ideas!
- Talented programmer, able to write production grade code.
- Strong Java or C++ programming experience.
- Experience building and deploying real world machine learning applications in a production environment.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Any knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as Tensorflow, Scikit-Learn, Theano etc would be advantageous but not a must have.
Please note that financial experience is not a requirement for this.
